Sean Ervin, a principal and senior architect with TSP Inc., has earned WELL Professional Accreditation. According to the International WELL Being Institute, the WELL Building Standard is a pathway for buildings and organizations to deliver more thoughtful and intentional spaces to enhance human health and well-being. Ervin passed an exam that covers the 10 core features of the WELL Standard: air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind and community. The Event Company

The Event Company has promoted three staff members.

Kali Trautman from senior event designer to director of event operations. Trautman started at the company in October 2017.

Ella Rynders from communications and graphic design specialist to creative director. She has been with The Event Company for one year.

Paige Timmons from event and experience coordinator to event designer. A recent South Dakota State University graduate, Timmons worked part-time at The Event Company while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing and events and facility management. She brings three years of event expertise to the company.

Molly Hill is an event designer. She has experience in project management, copywriting and event planning.

Chesney Garnos is the strategic communications manager. She has four years of communications experience in both the government and nonprofit sectors in the nation’s capital.

Kendra Wieringa is the happiness coordinator. She helps coordinate and oversee administrative duties in the office and develops interoffice communications. She previously worked for American State Bank as a universal banker.

First Premier Bank

First Premier Bank has hired Tyler Stewart as vice president, portfolio manager. Stewart has 11 years of experience in the financial industry. He is part of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society and the South Dakota Investment Society.


HenkinSchultz

Stacey Ratkiewicz has joined HenkinSchultz as an account executive and business development manager. She has worked in digital, television and various advertising sales and account roles throughout the region.

Midwest Employee Benefits

Dawn Knutson, the owner of Midwest Employee Benefits, has been named a Promise Award top agent in South Dakota by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The annual award recognizes agents and agencies for their commitment to excellence and fulfilling promises to Wellmark members. It’s the eighth consecutive year Knutson has been recognized.


Security National Bank

Donna Larson has joined Security National Bank as a mortgage loan originator. For more than three decades, she has served in a range of mortgage lending roles, including as a processor, as an originator and as the Sioux Falls manager of a mortgage company she helped launch.

Amy Frankman has been promoted to mortgage loan originator at Security National Bank, transitioning from her previous role in retail banking. She started her career at the bank as a personal banker. She was promoted to assistant branch manager, branch manager and then retail banking manager.
