Apex Engineering Group hires three new team members
BISMARCK, N.D. • Apex Engineering Group recently welcomed three individuals to its team.
The company hired Brad Pfeifer as lead water resources engineer. He worked for 30 years at NDDOT in the Construction, Design and Bridge divisions, serving his last decade there as Bridge Division’s team leader for preliminary engineering and hydraulics.
Pfeifer joins the Apex Water Resources Group in Bismarck as a Lead Water Resources Engineer. He is a licensed professional engineer in North Dakota with 33 years of experience.

Apex also hired Jacob Scheetz as a graduate transportation engineer. Scheetz earned a bachelor’s in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
He joins Apex Engineering Group in Bismarck as a graduate engineer. As part of his role in the transportation group, he works with road design and construction.
He has work experience from his time at FCI Constructors as a field engineer intern and with the city of Fargo engineering department as a seasonal inspector.
Brett Zeltinger was hired as a senior survey crew chief. He is a professional land surveyor certified in the state of North Dakota. He has 12 years of industry experience and joins Apex in Bismarck as a senior survey crew chief.
Zeltinger is a member of the North Dakota Professional Land Surveyors Missouri River Chapter and is the organization's current vice president.
In his role at Apex, he will provide survey project management, title research, drafting and consulting services.
Bartlett & West welcomes business manager for regional water team
BISMARCK, N.D. • Jared Huibregtse recently joined Bartlett & West as a business manager for its regional water team.
He brings more than seven years of experience from the North Dakota Department of Water Resources.
Huibregtse holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from North Dakota State University, a master’s degree in emergency management from North Dakota State University, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Mary.
He is a captain in the North Dakota Army National Guard and secretary of the National Guard Association of North Dakota.
Bell Bank hires vice president/treasury management officer
FARGO, N.D. • Heidi Fritz has been hired as vice president/treasury management officer at Bell Bank. She offices at Bell’s headquarters in Fargo.
Fritz began her banking career with Starion Bank in 2010, then worked for 10 years in treasury management at Bremer Bank prior to joining Bell.
At Bell, Fritz provides financial guidance and solutions to help businesses efficiently manage their deposits, cash flow and financial operations.
Fritz is originally from Fargo and attended Rasmussen College. She and her husband, Chad, live in West Fargo and have two children.
Central Payments announces a number of new hires
DELL RAPIDS, S.D. • Central Payments, which provides payments technology and issues solutions for fintechs and embedded finance, recently welcomed a number of new employees. They include the following:
Emanuel Bogdanovic is an ERM information security intern.
Brayden Hoops joined as a program and project management intern.
Dallas Rogers joined as an enterprise risk management intern.
Mark Lanners joined as vice president of information systems.
Ryan Flemming is senior manager of enterprise risk.

Flint Group hires several new team members
FARGO, N.D. • Flint Group has hired several new team members:
Allison Schwark was hired as a junior project manager. Schwark earned a bachelor's degree in biology from North Dakota State University and master’s degree in public health from Des Moines University.
Her strong, detail-oriented communication skills and knowledge of the professional service industry will support her in managing, controlling and monitoring projects to ensure they run as planned.
Prior to Flint Group, Schwark served as a medical assistant at Colorado Urology.
Katlin Marshall was hired as a junior account manager. Marshall’s positive attitude and communication skills will help her establish strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed.
Prior to Flint Group, she served as development specialist for Sanford. Marshall earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota.
Flint Group hired Erica Taylor as a junior project manager. Taylor will play a key role in monitoring and planning client projects.
Prior to Flint Group, Taylor was an intern for University of Duluth. She earned her master's degree in business from University of Duluth.
Greta Hobbs also recently joined as a project manager. Hobbs earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
She will play a key role in planning,monitoring and closing projects. Her strong communication and future-focused skills help keep projects on task.
Prior to Flint Group, Hobbs served as junior project manager at Off The Wall Advertising.
The company hired Ciarra Beckstrand as a public relations and social media specialist. Beckstrand earned a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University.
She will play a key role in content creation, media relations and copywriting for clients across various industries, including professional services and manufacturing.
Through her range of experiences, she has developed expertise in social media tactics, integrated communication planning and events.
Prior to Flint Group, Beckstrand served as development coordinator at The Perry Center.
Flint hired Elizabeth Gangstad as a production artist. Gangstad earned an associate degree in graphic design from The Art Institute of Seattle.
She will play a key role in creating engaging and effective production solutions for a range of clients as well as help elevate new clientele. Her time management skills and attention to detail help provide keen insight to elevate client designs.
Prior to Flint Group, Gangstad served as a layout artist for Office Sign Company.
Maggie Krull was hired as a junior project manager. Krull will lead projects so they will achieve their goals. She will organize and execute projects while working within budgetary and schedule restraints.
Krull graduated with a master’s degree in communications and bachelor’s degree in English from North Dakota State University.
